Podiatry
Podiatry is primarily concerned with the function of the foot (feet) and what influence and input they have with the injury. The assessment can, with the use of slow motion video, look at whole body movement which together with foot pressure analysis (how the foot loads onto the ground), gives a more accurate view of what the body is being put through, as many movements are just too quick to be seen with the naked eye.
A Podiatrist can help with conditions that may have been caused due to any of the following:
Minor foot ailments
High risk patient management
Sports injuries and biomechanics
Foot and nail surgery
Foot health education
