The summer season and the heart

Lynne Pretty

The summer season is in full swing and is associated with the
heart. Everything is in full bloom and our energy should be abundant.

From a Chinese perspective, the heart is described as the supreme controller. It makes sure all the other organs function harmoniously.

It is associated with joy and laughter. If our heart energy is working smoothly, we have the ability to give and receive love warmth and joy.

There is a spiritual aspect to our heart known as the Shen. Our Shen
helps us to think clearly, have a good memory, sleep well and to be physically and emotionally aware.

If our heart energy is out of sync, we may experience some of the following: palpitations, insomnia, anxiety, pain or stuffiness in the heart region, feeling cold, and shortness of breath on exertion.

Acupuncture can benefit our heart health, enabling us to feel happier , more peaceful and settled inside. There is a wonderful
point known as heart 7 which is associated with the mental aspect
of the heart, bringing stability and calmness to the heart/mind.

Acupuncture is a highly effective treatment for restoring balance and harmony to our sometimes overcrowded lives. Try it and see!
