Keith graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 1987 as a Chartered Physiotherapist. He gained
extensive experience working for 2 years as a junior physiotherapist at King's College Hospital, London. Following this Keith Jameshe travelled throughout Asia, New Zealand and Australia, where he gained further physiotherapy experience in various large teaching hospitals in Sydney.

On returning to England he took up a senior Physiotherapist post at Southmead Hospital, Bristol, consolidating his knowledge and skill in all areas of musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

From 1991 to 1996 he was team Physiotherapist for Bristol Rovers Football Club, having complete responsibility for all players.

In 1996 he transferred to Bristol Rugby Club, acting as head Physiotherapist until 2003.

Since 1991, alongside his sporting achievements, he has been building up his own private practice. In 2001 he opened his present premises in Coldharbour Road, which has successfully expanded to cover both physiotherapy and allied complementary treatments.

Having gained invaluable experience with both Bristol Rovers and Bristol Rugby club, he specialises in the treatment of patients with sporting injuries, incorporating advanced outdoor or rehabilitation sessions.

He is committed to high standards of clinical practice and patient care, and is convinced of the value of physiotherapy in treatment of physical injuries.


Giles Head

Giles' interest in sport and exercise science lead him to pursue a career in Physiotherapy. He graduated
from Polytechnic of East London in 1990 with a degree in Physiotherapy. He gained experience initially in
the NHS and by working for Bristol Colts and Oxford Rugby Club in the evenings and at weekends.

He started in private practice in 1995 with Bupa. Whilst at Bupa Giles gained valuable experience in the Giles Headrehabilitation of patients following surgery for shoulder, hip, knee and spinal condition.

Giles started his association with Keith James in 2001 when the Coldharbour Road practice opened. At the same time he began working as physiotherapist to Bristol Rugby Club Under 21s team.

In addition to his work at the clinic Giles is physiotherapist to Wiltshire Fire Brigade and physiotherapist to a specialist NHS clinic for patients with exercise induced leg pain. Giles also works as an extended scope practitioner at Southmead Hospital covering the specialties of Knee and Hip pain. He works extremely closely with two orthopaedic consultants during this time and has consequently developed a great deal of expertise in these problem areas.

Giles enjoys running completing the London Marathon in 2000.



Jo Lott


Jo studied physiotherapy at St Thomas Hospital London, qualifying in 1991. She then worked in the NHS establishing an excellent "foundation" for her future work. Following this she spent a couple of years in Kenya where Jo worked in two challenging and very different roles. One was working for the main Kenyan rugby club while the other was in a rehabilitation centre for refugees where artificial limbs were made.

Since returning in 1994, Jo has further consolidated her experience in sports injuries, back, neck, shoulder Jo lottand lower limb complaint. Jo recently joined Keith moving from the Nuffield Hospital in Bristol in May 2006.

Jo is a keen and talented sportswoman regularly completing triathlons, running and mountain biking events and uses this personal experience in her work with her patients at this clinic.
