Zoe Rayne
BCPA, Level 3 Pilates Instructor'Pilates is a body-conditioning method designed to build strength in core postural muscles, to correct muscle imbalance and to improve posture, muscle tone and flexibility. It works differently to other exercise methods by building strength from the inside out. Pilates can play an effective part in many injury rehabilitation programmes as it emphasizes controlled flowing movements avoiding the muscle and ligament damage associated with other fitness regimes'
Zoe was first introduced to Pilates through her dance training at the 'Rambert Ballet School' where she studied for 3 years. After her training she went on to dance with several international dance companies both here in the UK and abroad. The Pilates technique has always been an integral part of her training and she later went on to train and qualify as a Body Control Pilates Instructor.
Zoe is a member of the Body Control Pilates Association and listed on the Register of Exercise Professionals as a Level 3 Pilates Instructor.
Zoe holds regular mat work classes in and around Bristol and also works closely with the Dance Foundation Degree students at Bristol Community Dance Centre.
Many of her clients newly introduced to Pilates appreciate the beneficial effects of the technique from improvement of posture to regaining more mobility and freedom of movement.
