Giles’s interests in sport and exercise science lead him to pursue a career in Physiotherapy. He graduated in 1990 with a degree in Physiotherapy. He gained experience initially in the NHS and by working for Bristol Colts and Oxford Rugby Club.

Giles started in private practice in 1995 with Bupa, where he gained valuable experience in the rehabilitation of patients following surgery for shoulder, hip, knee and spinal conditions.

Giles started his association with Keith James in 2001 when the Westbury Park clinic opened. At the same time, he began working as the physiotherapist to Bristol Rugby Club under 21s team.

In addition to his work at the clinic, Giles is a physiotherapist to Wiltshire Fire Brigade and to a specialist NHS clinic for patients with exercise induced leg pain. Giles also works as an extended scope practitioner at Southmead Hospital specialising in knee and hip pain. He works closely with two orthopaedic consultants during this time and has consequently developed a great deal of expertise in these problem areas.
