MSc in Sports Therapy, Level 4 Diploma in Sports Massage

Kirstie is a qualified Sports Therapist. She has an MSc in Sports Therapy, BSc (Hons) in Sports Development and Coaching and is a member of the Society of Sports Therapists. Whilst completing her studies at the University of Gloucestershire she gained qualifications in sports massage and Personal training. She undertook placements in private clinics, and Oxford United FC. Once qualified, Kirstie worked in private clinics in the Bristol area as primarily a Sports Therapist and also a massage therapist. This has allowed her to expand her knowledge in injury management and prevention.
Prior to attaining her Masters degree, Kirstie worked as a Personal Trainer and enjoyed overseeing the progress her clients made towards their goals.
Kirstie is able to draw on her own experiences from her sporting background, having played hockey and netball. She also took part in competitive swimming and still competes in Masters swimming events. Her sporting background reinforces her understanding of training regimes and principles, helping her to ensure that clients reach their goals.
