Areas of expertise: Podiatry Chiropody
Monday: 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
Matt is a podiatrist specialising in running-related injuries, lower-limb biomechanics and performance-focused care.
Matt’s practice places strong emphasis on clear communication and patient education, ensuring individuals understand both the cause of their symptoms and the rationale behind their management plan. Care is fully individualised and may include exercise-based rehabilitation, with referral to physiotherapy, footwear and orthotic therapy intervention, load-management strategies and movement optimisation, with clinical decisions guided by objective data rather than generic or symptom-led approaches.
Alongside his clinical background, Matt brings over 30 years of personal running experience, having competed in track, cross-country and road running at club level, with a half-marathon personal best of 1 hour 13 minutes. This lived experience allows him to bridge the gap between biomechanical data and real-world training demands, ensuring assessments and recommendations are not only evidence-based, but also practical, realistic and supportive of long-term progress and performance.
