Vestibular Physiotherapy
Vestibular rehabilitation is a specialised form of physiotherapy designed to assess and treat dizziness, vertigo, balance problems and symptoms caused by disorders of the inner ear (vestibular system). These conditions can make everyday activities such as walking, turning your head, getting out of bed or moving around busy environments feel difficult or unsettling.
Treatment may include specific exercises to improve balance, reduce dizziness, improve coordination between your eyes and head, and help your brain adapt to changes in the vestibular system.

Vestibular rehabilitation may include:
- Balance and gait training to improve stability and reduce the risk of falls.
- Gaze stabilisation exercises to improve vision during head movements.
- Repositioning manoeuvres, such as those used to treat benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), where appropriate.
- Advice and education to help you manage symptoms, build confidence and safely return to everyday activities.
